Ingredients

THE GREEN MOUNTAIN Plant-based Tenders
8 tbsp.
vegan mayonnaise
1 tbsp.
tomato purée
1 tsp.
white balsamic vinegar
1
garlic clove
1 tsp.
lemon salt
1 tsp.
curry powder
1 pc.
fresh ginger
A little
chili flakes
A pinch of
sugar
A pinch of salt
A pinch of pepper, freshly ground
A little
oil for frying
This is how it’s done:
1.
Put 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise in a small bowl and mix with the tomato purée and balsamic vinegar.

Peel and finely chop the garlic clove. Add a little salt and rub the garlic into a fine paste with the back of a knife. Add the garlic paste to the mayonnaise and combine everything into a dip. Season with a little pepper.
3.
Pour the remaining mayonnaise into a bowl. Add the lemon salt and curry powder and mix.
4.
Peel and finely grate the ginger and add to the mayonnaise. Stir well and season to taste with a pinch of sugar, salt and a few chilli flakes.
5.
Heat plenty of oil in a large frying pan and fry the plant-based tenders over a medium heat for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
6.
The Crispy Tenders are best served with a fresh mixed salad.
Tip: the tenders are also ideal as a filling for wraps. Fry until crispy as described above, then wrap in a tortilla with a colourful salad or vegetables of your choice.
