Chili sin carne

A true all-rounder – our THE GREEN MOUNTAIN minced meat! Easily transform your favorite dishes into meatless delicacies. Good for you and good for the environment, because our minced meat has a high protein content and is rich in fiber and vitamin B12. Of course, our minced meat is also developed and produced in Switzerland!

THE GREEN MOUNTAIN minced meat

Baked potatoes

Vegetable oil
1
Onion, finely chopped
1
Garlic clove, pressed
200 ml
dark beer
1
small red chili pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
2
Tomatoes
1 can
Corn kernels (approx. 140g)
1 can
Kidney beans (approx. 210g), rinsed and drained
1-2 msp
Chili powder
1 msp
Cumin
1 pinch
Salt and sugar
2
Oregano with leaves
30 g
Cheddar cheese, grated (or vegan alternative)
This is how it’s done:
1.
Bake the potatoes in the oven at 180 degrees (fan oven 160 degrees) for approx. 50 minutes.
2.
Fry THE GREEN MOUNTAIN mince in a pan in hot oil, stirring vigorously.
3.
Add the onions and garlic and sauté. Deglaze with beer.
4.
Add the chili, tomatoes, corn and beans.
5.
Season with chili powder and cumin.
6.
Cover and simmer over a low heat for 30 minutes.
7.
Season with salt, sugar and oregano.
8.
Remove the potatoes from the oven, cut into them a little, fill with the chili and serve sprinkled with cheese.
