Whether in the classic flatbread, wrapped in yufka or tastily tuned in the vegan kebab box – it not only looks like a kebab, it tastes at least as good.
Where can you find something like that?
100% from switzerland
Our new Swiss Kebab is made from 100% natural ingredients grown exclusively in Switzerland. It is particularly important to us to map the entire value chain in Switzerland right from the start. Together with our customers, we want to make the difference.
The new Swiss Kebab marks a decisive step in our mission to produce high-quality food in a sustainable way while operating 100% regionally.
Raw materials such as soy, wheat and pea proteins – the basis for plant-based meat imitations – are rarely grown and processed in Switzerland and therefore have to be imported.
The cultivation of protein peas is established in Switzerland and both know-how and infrastructure are available. However, the focus with protein peas is currently still on growing them for animal feed. With enough projects such as the plant-based kebab from THE GREEN MOUNTAIN, more attention can be paid to food production with regional protein peas and the sales channel for local farmers can be made more attractive.
