1. SCOPE OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data received as part of the “Summer Tavolata” competition is processed in order to determine and execute the competition in accordance with the applicable regulations; depending on the country of participation, these are the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR“) and/or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (235.1) (“FADP“).
The following participant data will be requested:
Last name, first name, address, email address, telephone number, place of participation, photos & videos if applicable (“personal data concerned”).
2. DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF DATA PROCESSING
Between April 14 and June 22, 2025, a competition with the title “Summer Tavolata”, featuring products from Hilcona Aktiengesellschaft, will be held. Products with a specific promotional code will be on sale in participating stores during the above-mentioned period. Persons wishing to participate must enter the promotional code together with the personal data concerned via an entry form on www.thegreenmountain.ch/gewinnspiel or www.thegreenmountain.ch/fr/concours.
Participants should also refer to the privacy policy of the website where the participation form can be found; this regulates the general data protection of the website.
Participants provide the personal data concerned on a voluntary basis for the purpose of participating in the competition. There is no legal obligation and such provision is no way connected with the conclusion of a contract. Failure to provide data (or withdrawal of consent to data processing) will only result in non-participation/exclusion from the competition.
3. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
The personal data concerned is collected for the purpose of holding the “Summer Tavolata” competition, determining the winner, and communicating and processing the awarding of the prize. The personal data concerned is processed by the Controller and its processors for the purpose of holding the competition, including presenting the competition, the winners, and the prizes after it has finished on one or more Bell Food Group websites, on social media, or in other online or offline communications.
4. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

In addition, photos, videos, the first name and last name of the winner, and country and town/city details may be published on one or more Bell Food Group websites, on social media, or in other online or offline communications, and as a result may be made freely accessible to unknown groups of people.
5. LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
For the purpose of this website, we process data on the following legal bases:
The legal basis for processing the collected data is the consent of the data subject within the meaning of Art. 31(1) FADP or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
THE DATA SUBJECT MAY WITHDRAW CONSENT AT ANY TIME WITH FUTURE EFFECT BY SIMPLY NOTIFYING THE CONTROLLER BY EMAIL, TELEPHONE, OR VERBALLY. IF CONSENT IS WITHDRAWN BEFORE THE END OF THE COMPETITION (AWARD OF PRIZES), THE PARTICIPANT WILL FORGO PARTICIPATION AND THUS THE CHANCE OF WINNING. ANY PROCESSING CARRIED OUT BEFORE THE WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT REMAINS EFFECTIVE.
6. DURATION OF STORAGE
The winner’s data will be stored for a period of two years from the date on which the prize was claimed/awarded. Data of participants who have not won will be deleted or destroyed after the prize has been awarded to the winner. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.
PARTICIPANTS ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THAT IF THEY WIN AND DETAILS ARE POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA OR ANOTHER ONLINE CHANNEL, IT WILL BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE/DELETE PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND/OR TEXTS, ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE ARE NUMEROUS ARCHIVING SYSTEMS THAT ARE NOT CONTROLLED BY HILCONA
7. POSSIBILITY OF OBJECTION AND REMOVAL
Participants can revoke their consent to the processing of data at any time with effect for the future and are entitled to request information, correction, deletion, restriction of the processing of the data and to lodge an objection or complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for the market within the framework of the statutory regulations.
8. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The data subject has the following rights under conditions specified in the law and to the extent provided for by law:
