Conditions of participation for The Green Mountain competition “Summer Tavolata”


By taking part in the campaign, participants agree to the following conditions of participation:

1. Organizer

The organizer of The Green Mountain competition “Summer Tavolata” (hereinafter referred to as the “competition”) is Hilcona AG, Bendererstrasse 21, 9494 Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein (hereinafter referred to as “Hilcona”).

2. Eligibility to participate

2.1. Natural persons who (a) are at least 18 years old and (b) have a residence and address in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria as well as a valid telephone number and email address are eligible to participate. P.O. boxes and parcel stations cannot be considered.

2.2 Employees of Hilcona, their relatives, and employees and relatives of affiliated companies are not eligible to participate.

2.3 To take part in the competition, participants must enter an individual promotional code, which they can find on one of the promotional products listed under point 4 with a promotional sticker, and a valid email address on the competition landing page during the promotional period from April 14, 2025 to June 22, 2025 at 11:59:59 pm (end of the submission period) at www.thegreenmountain.ch/gewinnspiel or www.thegreenmountain.ch/fr/concours. The products can be purchased from participating food retailers.

2.4 Participants must agree to the Terms and Conditions of Participation and the Privacy Policy and confirm that they have read and understood these conditions of participation and have effectively agreed to and fulfilled them.

2.5 Participation via electronic registration systems (i.e. collective service providers) will not be considered.

3. Participation and submission period

The competition will take place during the campaign period from April 14, 2025 to June 22, 2025 at participating food retailers.

The submission period on the competition website www.thegreenmountain.ch/gewinnspiel or www.thegreenmountain.ch/fr/concours ends on June 22, 2025 at 11:59:59 pm.

Not all promotional products listed are always available on the day of purchase and at all grocery stores. The product must bear the corresponding promotional sticker.

5. Competition procedure

5.1 Checking the promotional code for winnings

To take part in the competition, participants must enter their individual promotional code, which can be found on the promotional sticker, and a valid email address on the website www.thegreenmountain.ch/gewinnspiel or www.thegreenmountain.ch/fr/concours , and select one of 3 possible weekly prizes in the event of a win.

Participants should proceed as follows on the competition landing page:

  1. Go to the website www.thegreenmountain.ch/gewinnspiel or www.thegreenmountain.ch/fr/concours
  2. Enter the promotional code
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Select your preferred weekly prize
  5. Consent to participate in the main prize draw
  6. Consent to the terms and conditions of participation and the privacy policy
  7. Submit your information

Prizes will be drawn at random at the end of each week of the promotion. There will be a weekly prize draw. All weekly prizes listed under point 7.1. will be drawn once per week. The draw always takes place on the following Tuesday of a competition week (midnight on Monday morning – 11.59 pm on Sunday). The three winners will then be notified immediately by email and will receive further information by email.  We kindly ask participants to check whether the prize notification has been sent to their spam or junk mail folders.

Once the promotional code has been entered, it loses its validity and cannot be used again. The draw for the weekly prizes takes place anew each week of the campaign. This means that new codes must be entered for new weekly draws..

All participating codes will be entered into the draw for the grand prize at the end of the campaign period, provided consent has been given. The grand prize is specified in section 7.2.

5.2 Information for winners

It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the required information is provided completely and correctly. If the winner cannot be contacted for reasons attributable to the winner, their claim to the prize will lapse within 14 days of the initial notification.

6. Registering a win

6.1 Participation in the promotion is not limited per person. A person or household can participate multiple times in the promotion with different promotion codes.

6.2 Each participant can only participate in their own name.

6.3 Entitlement to the prize will be forfeited if the participant provides incomplete or misleading information (date of birth, name, postal address, telephone number) about their identity. Hilcona is not obliged to research the correct data. Any disadvantages resulting from the provision of incorrect data shall be borne by the participant

6.4 Participants who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation are excluded. In such cases, Hilcona may refuse participation or subsequently reclaim the prize.

6.5 The prize will be forfeited if the winner cannot be reached at the email address or telephone number provided by them or if they do not contact the organizer or the partner commissioned to carry out the competition within 14 days of receiving the email.

6.6 Winnings cannot be paid out in cash. Winnings are not transferable to third parties. In individual cases, there may be delays in the provision of prizes.

6.7 The prizes will be dispatched within 4 weeks or after the data required to process the competition, as specified in the conditions of participation, has been provided by the winner.

7. Winnings

7.1 Weekly prizes

10 x 19-piece tableware set from ONO MAO in the teal shade
10 x 6-piece steak knives from Laguiole en Aubrac
10 x 3-in1 steel fire bowl from ORBIT

These three prizes will be sent to the registered address by a company of the agency CMF Advertising GmbH, Langwiesenweg 29-33, 61440 Oberursel, Germany.

In each week of the campaign, 1 set of crockery, 1 steak knife set and 1 fire bowl will be given away to participants in the prize draw.

7.2 Main prize

3 x financial contribution toward a custom-made solid wood dining table from a joinery of the winner’s choice up to a maximum of €3,000.

At the end of the promotional period, each participating country (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria) will be entered into a draw to win a share of up to a maximum gross amount of €3,000 toward the cost of a custom-made dining table. The participant drawn as the winner will commission a carpenter of their choice in the country in which the prize is won to make such a dining table and submit an electronic copy of the invoice to the email address communicated by Hilcona, together with their bank details and any other information requested by Hilcona. Hilcona will then refund the amount stated on the invoice, up to a maximum of €3,000. If the invoice amount exceeds the above maximum amount, the winner will be responsible for covering the difference.

Submission of an invoice implicitly constitutes a declaration that the service (table) shown on the invoice has been properly provided and handed over to the winner, and that otherwise the invoice is true and that the amounts invoiced therein exclusively cover remuneration for the carpentry service. Refunds, partial refunds, credit notes for the invoice amount, or conversions into credit by the joinery for the benefit of the winner or persons or friends associated with the winner are not permitted. In such cases, the winner will be required to refund the entire amount to Hilcona. Hilcona draws attention to the fact that in the event of false or forged invoices, legal proceedings will be initiated and/or the matter will be reported to the relevant authorities.

7.3 It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the required information is submitted completely and correctly so that the prizes specified in sections 7.1 and 7.2 can be delivered or produced. P.O. boxes and parcel stations cannot be considered. Subsequent changes to the shipping address cannot be taken into account. Shipping costs within Germany, Switzerland, or Austria are covered as part of the prize. The winner must ensure that they are able to accept the prize. If delivery is not possible, the winner will bear all subsequent shipping costs. Only one further delivery attempt will be made. We ask for your understanding that we cannot accept any responsibility in the event that a consignment is lost in the post.

7.4 Prizes may differ in color and design from the prizes shown in the advertising material. In individual cases, there may be delays in the provision of prizes.

7.5 It is not possible to pay out winnings in cash, in other material assets, exchange them, or transfer them to other persons. Notwithstanding the above, Hilcona is entitled to provide an appropriate equivalent if, for whatever reason, the specifically designated articles and models are not available or are not available in sufficient numbers.

7.6 A winner may decide to forgo any winnings.

8. Data protection

Participants’ personal data, in particular the information provided by participants when entering the competition or in the further course of communication (especially first name, last name, address, email address, and telephone number), will be processed by Hilcona in compliance with the provisions of the applicable data protection regulations for the purpose of carrying out and processing the competition. Such processing is necessary for the purpose of running the competition, distributing the prizes, and fulfilling Hilcona’s obligations under these conditions of participation.

The participant acknowledges that their personal data will be transmitted to CMF Advertising GmbH exclusively for the purpose of carrying out and processing the campaign.

Participants hereby declare their consent that photo and video material (visual personal data) may also be published if Hilcona decides to hand over the prizes in person or if the winners are presented on social media. This consent can be revoked at any time. Revocation should be sent to tgm.gewinnspiel@cmf.de. When withdrawing your consent, please state which competition you took part in, and if possible the month and location, so that it is easier for us to process your revocation and identify the data to be deleted.

The personal data will be deleted after the competition has been carried out and completed.

9. Updates to the terms and conditions of participation and data protection information

Technical innovations or legal changes may cause Hilcona to update, delete, or change parts of the terms and conditions of participation and data protection information. Participants are therefore asked to visit the campaign page from time to time of their own accord to stay up to date. The current status of the terms and conditions of participation and data protection information can be found on this page. The original terms and conditions shall continue to apply to legal acts performed prior to any amendment.

10. Applicable law/exclusion of legal recourse

Swiss law shall apply. Legal recourse is excluded in connection with this competition and the distribution of prizes.

11. Other rules

Should individual clauses be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining clauses. An invalid/unenforceable clause shall be replaced by a new provision that comes as close as possible to the meaning and economic purpose of the invalid/unenforceable clauses. The same applies to the filling of any regulatory gaps.

12. Liability 

Hilcona shall only be liable in accordance with the following provisions:

Liability is unlimited in the case of intent or gross negligence and in the case of a guarantee. In the event of injury to life, limb, or health and in cases of product liability, liability is also unlimited. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

No claims may be made against Hilcona, the agency involved, or the partners if the website is temporarily unavailable. Hilcona is not liable for any loss of data and any resulting damage.
